About - Greensboro Optometrists | Drs. Charlotte & Eric Ablott

Eric and Charlotte met at optometry school in Chicago in 2009 and were married in the Canterbury School chapel in Greensboro in 2012. They thrive while working together to improve the lives of their patients through comprehensive eye exams, disease detection and management, and personalized treatment plans. Together they enjoy traveling, spending time outside, and raising their three children: Jackson Isaiah, Claire Elise, and Malachi Jacob.

Dr. Eric Ablott

Optometrist

Dr. Eric Ablott grew up on a farm in central Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in Omaha with a BS in biology in 2006 and then received his doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry. He completed an ocular disease/glaucoma residency at Heartland Eye Consultants in Omaha, Nebraska.Dr. Eric enjoys hunting, golfing, being involved in the local church, Nebraska Cornhusker football, and traveling.

Dr. Charlotte Ablott

Dr. Charlotte Ablott grew up in Greensboro, NC. She graduated from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan in 2009 and then received her doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 2013. She completed a residency in primary care/ocular disease at the W.G. (Bill) Heffner Salisbury VAMC in Salisbury, NC Dr. Charlotte enjoys swimming with the Masters swim training program, running, cooking, and being involved in the local church.
